Experts discuss IPR strategy in Hubei |
On April 17 and 18, 2010 IPR Nanhu Forum, organized by Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, attracted foreign and domestic experts and scholars totaling 300 to discuss the betterment of IPR system and the promotion of IPR strategy under the background of economic globalization. In 2009, China's IP applications showed a trend of rapid growth. That year, China received 877,000 pieces of domestic patent applications, accounting for 30% of the total number of patent applications and rising by 22.4%; meanwhile, China received 830,000 pieces of applications for trademark registration, up 18.9%; and China also received 404,000 pieces of copyright works records and 71,000 pieces of software copyright records. Though China made great achievements in IPR cause, the IPR construction of China still confronted new international environment and new challenges. With respect to IPR-related issues, the officials, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs made heated discussion from China, the United States, Germany, Austria, Japan, Korea, Australia and Belgium. |
