Foreign Ministry viewpoints about China on International Piracy Watch List |
Q: It is learnt that the U.S. Congressional International Anti-Piracy Caucus condemned China and some other countries for infringing intellectual property rights and put them on this year's "International Piracy Watch List." What do you think of this release? A: The Chinese Government paid much attention to IPR protection work and has made it a national strategy. China made continuous efforts to enhance IPR system and institution building of intellectual property rights, improve relevant laws and regulations in IPR sector and strengthen IP law enforcement and launch special campaigns. The policies China has implemented, the measures China has taken and the effects of China's efforts are obvious to all. Relevant U.S. legislators should respect the fact and stop making groundless condemnation of China. |
