Sichuan convenes conference on patent law enforcement |

On the morning of May 21, 8 cities and prefectures in Sichuan Province held a conference on the coordination mechanism of patent administrative enforcement in Suining. In order to integrate law enforcement resources, reduce enforcement costs and effectively strengthen law enforcement, in 2009, the 8 cities of Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang, Nanchong, Suining, Bazhong, Dazhou and Aba in Sichuan Province signed an agreement to build a coordination mechanism of patent administrative enforcement and hold regular consultations to report typical cases and exchange experiences on law enforcement. And this is the third consultation. Vice Mayor Hu Jiazheng was present at the meeting and delivered a speech, he expressed the hope to adhere to the tenet of "cooperation, development and win-win" to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with other cities and prefectures through the platform of "consultation", and make the horizontal cooperation more close, extensive and thorough, and advance the patent law enforcement work to a new level with the help of law enforcement coordination mechanism. At the meeting, the relevant departments of Sichuan Provincial Intellectual Property Office informed of the relevant circumstances of new "Intellectual Property Protection Act", which describes the typical enforcement cases. |
