Jilin: agricultural products with GI trademarks solve employments |

It is learnt from Jilin Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce that, in recent years, the Province actively supports the agricultural products with GI trademarks to help farmers to enhance incomes. Up to now, the province's agricultural products with GI trademarks totally achieved the sale of 7.6 billion yuan and output value of 4 billion yuan, which solved the employments of over 1.6 million people in 14 counties and districts. Since 2009, Jilin promulgated many policies to vigorously cultivate the brands of agricultural products with market competitiveness focusing on the advantageous industries including ginseng, deer horn, mushroom and herbs and so on, and cultivate well-known trademarks in the key products, and boost the industrial upgrading of characteristic products. |
