Hunan: Changde launches IPR publicity activity

During 2010 Changde Science and Technology Activity Week, Changde Municipal IP Office conducted various kinds of publicity activities.

The IP office set up consultation platform to receive consultations from the public on patent application and IPR protection. They also distributed many IPR publicity materials. On May 21, the office held a lecture on intellectual property rights. Head of the Management Sector of Changde Municipal IP Office Zhu Zhi and President of Changcheng Patent Agency Zhang Qiyan respectively gave lectures on How Enterprises Do Their IPR Work and IPR Basic Knowledge, covering the building of IPR managerial departments in enterprises, the establishment of IPR system, IPR talent cultivation, patent strategy in technology research and development and brand strategy. Another two doctors also discussed how enterprises develop depending on innovation and how to deal with innovators.
