Guizhou intensifies protection of Asian Games symbols

Recently, Guizhou kicked off special campaign to protect the symbols of Asian Games,  particularly to curb four categories of illegal behaviors, i.e. the sales of goods that infringed the symbols of the 16th Asian Games, the sales of counterfeiting licensed goods, the online sales of goods that infringed symbols of the Asian Games and the usage of intellectual property rights related to the Asian Games without authorization as well as the violation of the sponsors’ rights and interests by advertisement publicity.

From this June to November, Guizhou will mainly inspect tourism cities, recreation places, main traffic roads, busy commercial streets, large-scaled finery and small commodity markets and souvenir markets. The enforcement agency will also check memorial coins, memorial badge, fur toys, clothes, etc. All the infringing behaviors and commodities will be handled timely once found.
