Exchange activity on No Fakes Pledge held in Shenzhen

Recently, the communicating activity on No Fakes Pledge between Guangdong and Hong Kong was held in Shenzhen. Vice Director of Guangdong Provincial IP Office Yuan Youlou, Assistant Director of Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department Peng Shufen and Vice Director of Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration Wu Hongyan attended the symposium and delivered a speech.

Yuan Youlou pointed out that, further enhancing IPR work, raising indigenous innovation ability and advancing the change of economic developing mode was Guangdong's current main task. Yuan said that, since the year 2004 when Guangdong launched No Fakes Pledge activity, pilot work has been conducted in 11 cities in the province and over 500 enterprises and businessmen involved in this activity. No Fakes Pledge activity has become one of the successful schemes in respect to IP cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

Peng Shufen briefed the No Fakes Pledge activity in Hong Kong. She hoped that with the joint efforts of Guangdong and Hongkong, a perfect administration and protection system could be built so as to boost the sound development of No Fakes Pledge Scheme. Wu Yanhong said that since No Fakes Pledge activity was launched in Shenzhen, the order of market and economy has well maintained.
