Sichuan: Ziyang has 95 patent applications in 5 months |

Lately, according to related department of Ziyang in Sichuan Province, the city got 95 patent applications from January to May this year, greatly increased by comparing to the same period of last year. Ziyang attached great importance to the patent application and undertook a series of activities, such as organizing IPR week, holding intellectual property (IP) conferences and trainings and so on. Besides, Ziyang Engine Company was specified as one of the fourth national IP trial enterprises, Ziyang Engine Industrial Park was confirmed as the provincial IP trial park, and Sichuan Rongwu Machine Factory and other 6 enterprises were defined as the provincial IP predominant and trial enterprises. Last year, Ziyang got 354 pieces of patent applications, 87 more than that in 2008, 32.55% increased, ranking the 7th in Sichuan; meanwhile, the city organized 8 enterprises and 12 products to participate the 10th Western Fair – High-tech Industry Fair, and the recommended "和谐号" locomotive engine model of CSR ZIYANG CO., LTD. received broad appraisement. |
