Second Seminar on Intellectual Property of China-Japan (Jiangsu)

On June 2, the Second Seminar on Intellectual Property of China-Japan (Jiangsu) was held in Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu province. Vice Director of Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office Huang Zhizhen attended the seminar and delivered a speech.

At the seminar, Mr. Xia Yu from Onda Techno Intl. Patent Attys. introduced Japan’s IP regime from four aspects, i.e. the protection of industrial property in Japan, Japan’s patent regime, Japan’s trademark regime and the attention to which Chinese enterprises should pay when protecting IP in Japan. Mr. You Jie from the branch of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu briefed the process of working out IP strategy of Japan, the content of the IP strategy and how to carry out IP strategy. KOIKE kiyohito from Beijing Office of Japan External Trade Organization introduced how the four enterprises including EPSON, Konica Minolta, Honda and Mitsubishi Electric implemented IP strategy. The IP experts also interacted with the participants on IP issues.
