National conference on patent statistics held

The national conference on patent statistics was held in Yinchuan, a city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Deputy Director of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Yang Tiejun was present at the meeting and delivered a speech. Over 90 people from the related departments attended the meeting.

The meeting summed up the national patent statistics in 2009 and made deployment for future work, and commended the advanced collectivities and individuals in the investigation work of national patent implementation in 2009, exchanged of experiences in patent statistics and investigation, and the participants also discussed the problems and deficiencies in statistic work and put forward measures for improvement. At the meeting, Director of the IPO in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Liao Bin introduced the situation of economic and social development and IP work and statistic in Ningxia to the participants.
