Days ago, the opening ceremony for the Agricultural Subsite of China Intellectual Property (IP) Distance Education Platform was held in Xi'an. Deputy Director of Shaanxi Provincial Intellectual Property Office Yang Xingyun and the related principals of China IP Training Center and China Science Technology Monetary Promotion Association were present at the opening ceremony and together opened the platform.
China Intellectual Property (IP) Distance Education Platform is one the three platforms for the information construction of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), which Bear the important task of the nation-wide popularity of IP knowledge. Since the launch in October 2002, the platform developed over 20 courses and trained over 5000 IP talents at different levels.
The agricultural subsite is the fourteenth subsite in China for adapting the trends and requirements of IP information construction and striving to boost the training work of IP personnel in China especially the western region.
