Guangxi: critical project on significant technology in enterprises with 100 billion yuan kicked off |

On June 28, the construction work for 100 billion yuan industrial research center and the critical project on significant technology in Guangxi formally kicked off. It is anticipated that, by 2012, Guangxi will build a batch of technical innovation centers at national advanced level in 18 key industries and gradually implement more than 350 critical projects to boost the technical upgrade in industries with 100 billion yuan and make the technology and equipment be close to the provincial advanced level. The critical project is to construct 23 industrial research centers (1823 for short) in 14 industries with 100 billion yuan, including food, car and so on, and 4 emerging industries, and implement 350 critical projects on technology (350 projects for short). The 350 projects will be divided into 3 batches. By now, the 35 projects entered into the trial stage in 2009 have applied 55 patents and 9 have been granted, resulting in 61 new products (including trial products) and fine effects. |
