Shaanxi: trademark pledge loan to be in use in Xi'an |

According to Xi'an Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, the department and Shaanxi Branch of China Banking Regulatory Commission jointly constituted the "Guidance of Xi'an on Trademark Pledge Loan"(hereinafter referred to as the "Guidance") and kicked off the trademark pledge loan first. The "Guidance" provides that, any enterprise that owns the exclusive rights of trademarks could apply pledge loan from the bank, and if passed the evaluation for the trademark exclusive rights and the bank's examination, the enterprise would sign with the bank the loan contract and pledge contract with exclusive rights of trademarks, and then get the loan after registration. The issuance of the "Guidance" signals the formal kick-off of the trademark pledge loan in Xi'an. The trademark pledge loan is beneficial for enterprises with independent brands in Xi'an, especially with high popularity, to accelerate the tangibilization and monetization of intangible assets, improve the independent innovation ability and core competitiveness, and to enhance the subjective initiative in the establishment of independent trademark and cultivation of predominant brands. |
