State IPR Expert Advisory Committee set up |

On August 5, the State IPR Expert Advisory Committee was set up and Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office Tian Lipu awarded the letters of appointment to the first batch of expert committeemen. Tian Lipu expressed that, this year the central government pointed out 8 opinions on how to change the mode of economic development, and one of the opinions is to accelerate indigenous innovation. Whereas, to raise the capability of indigenous innovation is just the core of implementing intellectual property strategy. Tian Lipu hoped that the IPR Expert Advisory Committee could put forward some advice on the building of IPR legal system and relevant policies and regulations. He also hoped that the committeemen could play their role in economy, science and technology, education and intellectual property rights. The Director of the State IPR Expert Advisory Committee and former Director of the State Intellectual Property Office Wang Jingchuan denoted that, the State IPR Expert Advisory Committee will do more research and argumentation on the comprehensive and strategic issues related to the implementation of the National IPR Strategy and will devote to China’s IPR work by proposing proposals on the construction of relevant laws, regulations, policies and system. The committeemen also expressed to try their best to do more constructive research and argumentation on the major topics in IPR sector. It is learnt that 20 experts from such fields as economy, science and technology, education, culture and intellectual property became the first batch of committeemen of the State IPR Expert Advisory Committee. The director is Wang Jingchuan, and the committeemen are Cheng Enfu, Dai Houliang, Fang Xin, Li Mingde, Li Shunde, Liu Chuntian, Lv Wei, Ma Hao, Niu Wenyuan, Shan Xiaoguang, Song Liuping, Tang Guangliang, Tao Xinliang, Wang Bin, Wu Handong, Xue Lan, Zhang Ping, Zhou Yubo and Zhu Xuezhong. |
