Deputy Director of SIPO visits Hong Kong

Lately, Deputy Director of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Gan Shaoning and his group visited the Productivity Council and High Court in Hong Kong.

Gan Shaoning met with Deputy Director Pan Yongsheng in Hong Kong Productivity Council. He heard the introduction of the council and understood the application of patent and trademark in Hong Kong and the services provided by the council in IP field. He appreciated the achievements of the council and introduced the IP strategic outline of SIPO.

In Hong Kong High Court, Gan Shaoning met with Judge Shi Junnian and understood the situation of the court dealing with civil action especially the IP cases. Both sides also exchanged opinions on the challenges of internet copyright treatment.
