Shandong: Yantai constructs multi-level intellectual property system

Yantai of Shandong Province puts emphasis on constructing the multi-level and comprehensive intellectual property (IP) system to create a favorable environment for units and enterprises.

In recent years, Yantai established three platforms concerning IP information, right maintenance and trade, namely "Yantai Municipal IP Information Center", "China IP Aid Center (Yantai)" and "National Patent Technology Exhibition and Trade Center (Yantai)". Currently, the counties, cities and districts and key units and enterprises have achieved information share; the IP Aid Center also set up 12330 right maintenance mechanism; the Patent Technology Exhibition and Trade Center effectively promoted the industrialization of patent technologies of the city by holding patent supermarket and constructing internet patent supermarket and other forms.

Moreover, Yantai also continuously strengthens the study and application of IP strategy and guide enterprises to enhance core competitiveness. Currently, the industrial enterprises above the designated size in Yantai have basically established IP system.
