Binhai New Area to set up "IP Major" with Tianjin University of Science and Technology

It is learnt from related department that, Binhai New Area in Tianjin will explore the establishment of "Binhai Intellectual Property (IP)Talent Base" together with the city's university.
　　

In order to upgrade the international competitiveness of the enterprises in Binhai New Area, reinforce enterprises' IP awareness, enhance the capacity on coping with IP disputes, and upgrade the "soft environment" of innovation,the new area will take the lead to foster "IP Engineer".
　

With respect to talent fostering, the new area will fully use the advantages and resources of hi-tech enterprises to explore the innovation mechanism on IP talent examination, training and certification, and build the new area to a developed IP area and create more "Binhai Patents".  

　　

"The base will transfer the IP engineers and IP managers and R&D personnel of enterprises for the whole country after it is established". It is learnt that, State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) currently has had intention to cooperate with the new area on talent fostering.
