Jinan sets IPR circuit court to offer judicial protection to enterprises |

It is learnt from Jinan Municipal Intermediate People's Court that, in order to reinforce the intellectual property (IPR) trial work, Jinan will set up IPR circuit court and explore a new mode of effective and convenient IPR judicial protection. Recently, the court has instituted 20 opinions on the IPR trials to further exert the role of IPR trial in facilitating the independent innovation of enterprise, transformation of economic developing mode and adjusting and optimization of economic structure, including setting up IPR circuit courts in Jinan High-tech Industrial Development Zone, which is dense with IPR right owners. According to Associate Chief Judge of Jinan Intermediate People's Court Liu Tingjie, the establishment of the IPR circuit will smooth the litigation procedure, optimize the judicial service and enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of the judicial protection. Besides, the court will also carry out all judicial measures for the people, increase the guide and interpretation for the litigation, and set up and consummate the working mechanism to guarantee the litigation rights of all the parties through the writing of Guide on IPR Litigation, implementation of informing system of rights and obligation and warning system for litigation risks, exploring of guide system on proof and so on. Meanwhile, it will also reinforce the judicial remedy, derate the litigation fees according to the laws and strive to lower the cost of the lawsuit to lessen the burden of the parties. |
