Henan: Private enterprises in Puyang owning 2,500 trademarks |
On August 10, Lei Shengyun, commissioner of Puyang Administration for Industry and Commerce, delivered a working report at a meeting convened by the Administration of Puyang, a city of Henan Province. Lei said in his speech that his agency has achieved great success by conscientiously performing its duty and enhancing supervision over market entities. In a bid to provide effective service and promote business development, a service and development office led by the administration was set up in due time. As of June, the city has owned 896.81 million business entities, up 14.55%, in which, private business entities and farmer cooperatives have reached 10,195 and 1,090 respectively, increasing by 40% and 63.9% on a year-on-year basis, hitting a historic high record. The administration has given full play to its financial service functions including chattel mortgage, stock pledge and order mortgage, aiming to help small and medium-sized enterprises solve their financing problems. Strengthening collaboration with the Postal Savings Bank, the administration has already assisted enterprises, individual businesses and farmers to get 630 million yuan worth of loans as of now. Meanwhile, it has been supporting local enterprises to cultivate trademarks and brands by deepening the implementation of trademark strategies. Currently, the city has 437 trademark applications and 324 trademark registrations. |
