2011 Patent Analysis and Early Warning Project Seminar held in Beijing |
On March 1 and 2, State Intellectual Property Office(SIPO) conducted an expert seminar on patent analysis and early warning project in 2011. Vice SIPO Commissioners He Hua and Yang Tiejun attended the conference and pointed out that patent analysis should base on technological and industrial development. At the conference, He Hua and Yang Tiejun had a report on 2011 patent analysis and early warning project. They confirmed the achievements and raised requirements on improving patent analysis and early warning work. The two stressed that patent analysis work should closely integrate into technological and industrial development, strengthen analysis on technological development ways, and enhance strategic patent thoughts and plans on the purpose of exerting the role of patent analysis in promoting the development of key fields and technological development. It is informed that the patent analysis and early warning project ignited by SIPO in 2011 covers ten fields involving vehicle fuel cell, new generation information technology, smart grid and biological breeding and nowadays a number of research results have been achieved. Before the project, SIPO had conducted 36 patent analysis and early warning projects concerning China’s key industries and technologies. Part of these research results provided important decision-making reference and supports for the development of national economic and S&T activities and the issuance of key policies. Nearly 50 experts from SIPO and related technological fields participated in the seminar and exchanged views on the phrasal results of the ten patent analysis and early warning projects in 2011. Their opinions and suggestions will be in favor of the development of future work. |
