Mongolia IPO visited Hunan IPO

Recently, director and deputy director of Hunan Intellectual Property Office Gong Shiyi and Chen Zhongbo met with a delegation led by Namjil Chinbat, commissioner of Mongolian Intellectual Property Office. The two parties shared perspectives on intellectual property strategies.

Gong welcomed Chinbat and introduced the latest development of IP strategies of Hunan IPO. He confirmed the active role IP strategies have been playing in stepping up economic growth. He also expressed the desire that the two offices would join hands to promote the IP development by taking more opportunities to share experience and practice.

Chinbat said in his speech that Mongolian government has attached more importance to IP protection. A number of IP symposiums have been held between the two countries since the IP cooperation agreement was signed by the two sides in 2005. Currently, Mongolia has completed drafting its IP strategies which are to be reviewed by the Parliament. In this crucial period, learning from the Chinese peer in this regard would help them to be equipped with valuable experience and better practice.

At the meeting, Mongolian delegators introduced their current IP conditions, while Chen shared Hunan IPO’s experience in formulating IP strategies. Both sides reached a consensus on future communication and cooperation programs in this area.
