Jiangsu: Xuzhou Administrative Patent Law Enforcement Brigade set up

Days ago, Xuzhou Administrative Patent Law Enforcement Brigade was official set up, which was the first administrative patent law enforcement team in Jiangsu province.

The main responsibilities of the Brigade are to conduct administrative patent law enforcement activities in the whole city based on laws and regulation of China and Jiangsu, e.g. investigating the illegal actions involving counterfeit and imitating patents and handling and mediating all kinds of patent disputes. The Brigade was approved by CPC Xuzhou Municipal Committee and Xuzhou Municipal People's Government in July 2009 and is governed by Xuzhou Municipal IP Office.

The establishment of Xuzhou Administrative Patent Law Enforcement Brigade indicated that Xuzhou's IP work developed into a new era and was of significance in further enhancing administrative patent law enforcement work and regulating the order of market economy
