National S&T Platform Standardization Technology Committee set up

On November 16, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) convened the founding conference of National S&T Platform Standardization Technology Committee. Director of the State Standard Committee Ji Zhengkun and Vice Minister of the MOST Liu Yanhua attended and delivered the conference.

Ji Zhengkun narrated China's guideline in developing standardization work in the new era. First, emancipate thought and set up the concept of service, science and legality; second, persist in reform and innovation and do hard work at optimizing structure, raising quality, lifting speed, increasing efficiency and consolidating management; third, insist on scientific development, emphatically do the following four key jobs, i.e. amending the Law of Standardization, working out National Standardization Strategy Outline, implementing the construction project of national standardization system and impelling the construction of national technology standard resource service platform.
