Cross-Strait Copyright Forum held in Taibei

2009 Cross-Strait Forum was held in Taibei on November 30 and experts and scholars in the publishing circle from Mainland and Taiwan gathered together to discuss how to boost the consummation of the IP systems.

Director of the Copyright Society of China (CSC) Shen Rengan led over 20 people in publishing field from Mainland for the forum. CSC Consultant Yan Xiaohong denoted that, with the rapid development of digital technology, the law systems concerning cross-strait copyright were challenged. How to solve the copyright issues caused by search engine linkage, the sharing of video frequency, weblog and information spreader is the new topic in IPR theoretical and practice fields.

Yan Xiaohong hoped that the cross-strait copyright elites could enhance communication and coordination to impel the perfection of the cross-strait IPR systems and facilitate the development of cross-strait economy, culture and S&T cause.
