Shanghai High Court set up database for IPR experts |

In order to perfect the mechanism for IPR trials and ensure the quality of IPR case hearing, Shanghai People’s High Court set up a database for IPR experts on case hearing in Shanghai courts on December 1 and invited 62 authorities from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and others as the members, covering all professional technical fields. From now on, these experts will offer consultative opinions on technical problems involved in IPR cases heard by Shanghai courts. In recent years, IPR cases heard by courts in Shanghai is increasing gradually and becoming more and more complicated; professional experts are needed sometimes to solve technical problems. From 2000 till now, there are over 160 cases involving technical authentication and consultation among all kinds of IPR cases heard by Shanghai courts. |
