62 units promotes order of online copyright |

Days ago, the Online Copyright Work Committee of Internet Society of China initiated by 62 member units including information service providers, content service providers, copyright holders and their collectively administrative organizations, financial information service institutions and governmental related departments was established in Beijing, which will promote the healthy development of internet industries via constructing the platform for communication between internet enterprises and copyright holders and mediating the disputes in online copyright. It is introduced that, the Online Copyright Work Committee is a national and non-profit organization established at the foundation of Online Copyright Union of Internet Society of China, which carries out online copyright protection and financial services rectification via industrial self-discipline, and provides legally authorized contents and services for internet users. 62 member units including State Copyright Office, Internet Society of China, Shanghai Stock Exchange, People's Daily, Xinhua and Baidu and so on attended the meeting. According to the working plan, the committee will begin work by infrastructure construction, and carry out work from the aspects of reflecting industrial voice, promoting industrial exchange, boosting copyright cooperation and so on. |
