Beijing: 24 plant varieties add

Lately, Beijing Forest Variety Evaluation Committee evaluated 24 new variety plants from such aspects as parental sources, breeding process, breed characteristics, the key points of growth technologies and breed adaptability. Eventually these 24 new varieties reached the evaluation standard, indicating the increase of Beijing forest varieties.

Vice Director of the Office of Beijing Capital Greening Commission Gan Jing expressed that, in 2010, Beijing Forest Variety Evaluation Committee will continue to intensify publicity and promotion of new variety evaluation work, enrich the variety of forest and boost forestry industry.
