Henan: patent subsidies in Puyang City

In 2009, Puyang subsidized 248 patents and has subsidized 1,143 patent applications in all since the year 2007.

Since the second half of last year, Puyang received 270 applications for subsidy, of which invention patent applications were 80 pieces, utility model patent applications were 175 and design patent applications were 15 pieces. Based on Puyang Patent Subsidy Management Measure, Puyang determined to subsidize 248 patent projects, of which service invention patents were 87 and non-service invention patents were 161.

Puyang patent subsidy aims to help enterprises and individuals in the prefecture with their patent development and applications, encourage people in invention, creation and S&T innovation, foster hi-tech industries with independent IPRs and drive the transformation of patented technologies.
