In 2009, departments for anti-piracy and pornography in Heilongjiang Province carried out three centralized campaigns and five special campaigns under the leadership of provincial CPC Committee and the government. In the mean time, several cases with significant influence were investigated and criminals were punished. The five typical cases are as follows:

The case of online selling for pornography in Mudanjiang, January 7;
The case of selling pirates and illegal publications in Harbin, March 7;
The case of vending pornographic discs in Shuangyashan, May 17;
The case of producing illegal publications in Qiqihar, September 18;
The case of illegal printing in Harbin, October 27.
