Shantou to directly accept patent infringements in different places |

The problems of hardly to obtain evidence, high cost of rights protection and local protectionism and so on in patent right protection work are reflected generally by Shantou's relevant enterprises and industrial associations. The reporter learned from a forum on patent protection of companies held by Shantou Intellectual Property Office recently that, Shantou will directly accept and act for and transfer infringement cases in different places, and maintain the legitimate rights and interests of right holders. Shantou Municipal Intellectual Property Bureau will make full use of existing resources, through the patent administrative enforcement coordination system between relevant provinces and municipalities, directly accept and act for and transfer infringement cases in different places. Meanwhile, they will lead the industrial associations to make representations for the enterprises involving in industrial or regional infringing cases. |
