Gansu: Dingxi makes headway in IPR work

At Gansu IPR Working Conference held recently, Dingxi Municipal IP Office was entitled with Advanced Entity in Gansu IPR Section and was invited to give a lecture.

In 2009, Dingxi exerted itself to perfect IPR system, create sound legal environment, market environment and culture environment and raise its ability in IPR creation, use, protection and management and eventually made outstanding achievements in IPR work.

To be specific, Dingxi filed 89 patent applications, increasing by 178.1% compared with the previous year, which helped Dingxi rise to 11th from 7th in patent application amount in the province; Dingxi ended 3 patent infringement disputes, held 7 training classes, trained 435 persons, published 22 pieces of articles, distributed over 30,000 pieces of materials, answered over 2,000 times of consultations, transferred 8 patented technologies, subsidized 59 patents and handed out 68,725 yuan patent subsidies.
