Hunan: Shaoyang leads in the work of combating pirated printings

It is learnt from National Directors' Meeting on Press and Publication that, Shaoyang Municipal Press and Publication (Copyright) Bureau actively carried out a special campaign against piracy, effectively combating the behaviors of "private servers", "hack tools" and "cheating account nmbers" and achieved outstanding results, and won the advanced collectivity of National Anti – piracy. This the other laurel following the title of advanced collectivity of National Press work won in 2008.

In last tear, Shaoyao Municipal Press and Publication (Copyright) Bureau foused on direction management and market supervision, put emphasis on combating political illegal publications and always grasp the leadership and initiative. The bureau totally investigated 1 illegal magazine, 6 illegal cases concerning illegally operating books and newspapers, 10 internet bars with illegal operation, 6 illegal printings, 13 online pirated cases and seized 3 suspicions.
