Guangxi: Hengxian makes breakthrough in brand building |
Brand products reflect the quality of the local products. In 2009, Hengxian in Guangxi reinforced the cultivation of brand products, and "金花 (which means golden flower)" jasmine tea was approved as Guangxi brand product, which was a breakthrough in Hengxian's history of brand building. At the same year, the two geographic indications (GI) of "南山白毛茶 (Baimao Tea in Nanshan)" and "横县大头菜 (Hengxian Kohlrabi)" and other two local standards were approved by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the local department. Until now, there have been 3 GIs and 12 local standards in the county, which offers strong technical safeguard to the standardization of the characteristic supporting industry. |
