Tianjin encourages youngsters to innovate

To raise youngsters' S&T innovative ability and foster their IPR awareness, Tianjin Municipal IP Office joined hands with Tianjin Municipal Education Committee and Tianjin Municipal Science Committee to hold Youngster Invention & Design Contest.

The contest attracted 860 pieces of works from more than 1,100 students of over 100 middle schools and primary schools. From the year 2008 to 2009, the accumulated number of patent applications filed by these students reached 3,000 or more.
