Ningbo Customs seized 20,496 "cheap copy" filters |

Days ago, Ningbo Customs seized a total of 20,496 filters suspected of infringing acdelco's trademark right, involving up to 220,000 yuan. Ningbo Customs found a batch of filters marked "acdelco" brand were with primitive packing and rough working in the inspection of auto parts exported to the UAE. This led to suspicion of the customs inspection staffs who immediately detained the filters. After the confirmation by the trademark right holder, these export filters were “cheap copy " Acdelco filter, which were counterfeited by domestic unscrupulous traders. According to statistics, Ningbo Customs seized a total of 442 batches of goods infringing IPRs with value of 64.87 million yuan in 2009, increased by 52% and 33% compared with the previous year. |
