Shandong gains 3.07 million yuan's subsidy for PCT applications |

The central finance set up a special fund in 2009 to support domestic SMEs, governmental institutions and scientific research institutions to apply international patents. Shandong's 42 PCT applications gained subsidy of 3.07 million yuan. Shandong Provincial Intellectual Property Office and all the IP management departments at each level seriously referred to the regulations of "Interim Measures for the Special Fund Supporting Foreign Patent Applications", actively and seriously implemented the work of policy publicity, project information collection and application, and established a favorable foundation for Shandong to pass the national examination on declared projects. In recent years, the original innovation ability of Shandong was enhanced continuously, more and more enterprises adopted the development strategy of actively participating in international competition, and the PCT applications were increased year by year. It is learnt that, Shandong Provincial Intellectual Property Office is going to carry out special training on PCT projects declaration, thus to enhance the while province's declaration level. |
