Ningxia: IPR related civil disputes are increased |

According to the latest statistics of Higher People's Court in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the IPR related civil cases accepted by Ningxia senior and intermediate court in 2009 were increased by 315.35 percent compared with the previous year. The related principal thinks that this reflects the trend of increase of intellectual property disputes in the underdeveloped regions. President of the IPRs Court of Higher People's Court in Autonomous Region Fan Xueli said that, copyright property disputes were most prominent in the intellectual property disputes accepted by the Court, accounting for half of all the cases, even 80% in some courts. Most of the copyright property disputes involved unauthorized use of movies and music by KTV, radio, media and Internet bars to illegally make profits. |
