Fujian to launch evaluating measures on patent awards |

Recently, Fujian Provincial Governor Huang Xiaojing hosted a executive meeting and governor's working meeting to consider and approve the Evaluating Measures on Patent Awards. The patent awards are aiming at commanding China's Patent projects which have significant economic and social benefits in the administrative region of Fujian Province. Fujian Provincial Patent awards appraised every two years set up a top prize and the first, second and third prizes, of which the amount of top prize is 300,000 yuan, the amounts of first, second and third prizes are respectively 100,000 yuan, 50,000 yuan, and 30,000 yuan. The Measures also regulates that the patents gaining above second prize will be given priority to the declaration of China Patent Awards. The adoption of the Measures will must be helpful for promoting the whole society to form the IP cultural atmosphere of respecting knowledge and advocating innovation, it is also helpful for mobilizing the enthusiasm of the main body of innovation, effectively enhancing Fujian's level on IP creation and application, and it is helpful for promoting the province's industrial structure adjustment and transform in the mode of economic development. |
