Henan releases 2010 plan on promotion of IP strategy |

On March 29, it is learnt from Henan Provincial Leading Group Office of IP Work that, "2010 Plan on the Implementation of the Outline of IP Strategy in Henan" was officially released. According to the plan, emerging industries will gradually become the leading force of the development of economic society, and the step of cultivating a batch of innovation-oriented enterprises with independent IPRs and brands will be accelerated. The plan defines the key points of the Outline of IP Strategy in 2010: constructing the IP working mechanism that can adapt market demands, promote independent innovation and accelerate structure adjustment, and forming the IP development environment with governmental guide and promotion and resources integration; enhancing the R&D and training of electronic information, biological engineering, new materials, new energy, new technologies and genetically modified breeding, and promoting the development of photovoltaic, new batteries, wind power, bio-medicine, bio-agriculture and other competitive industries, guiding enterprises to focus on the development IP-intensive products to form core competitiveness; comprehensively promoting the standardization of system focusing on intellectual property creation, use, protection and management, developing protection policy for intangible cultural heritage (ICH) domain name, completing the institution work for the implementation details of IPR strategy outline in the province's education system and fully play the role of intellectual property system in stimulating creation, effective use, legal protection and scientific management, and actively providing strong supports for building an innovative Henan. |
