The legislation for the service outsourcing industry of Hangzhou in Zhejiang arose wide concerns in the industry. Days ago, the released "Provisions on IP Protection for Outsourcing in Hangzhou" was appraised as the top ten events of the service outsourcing of China in 2009 by the magazine of "Chinasourcing".　

Although China has many regulations related to service trade promulgated, such as: "Copyright Law", "Patent Law," "Trademark Law", "Computer Software Protection Regulations", etc. China's legislation on the IPRs in service trade still need to be strengthened and refined compared with Europe, US and India which is the biggest competitor in outsourcing. The promulgated "Provisions on IP Protection for Outsourcing in Hangzhou" by Hangzhou launched many regulations on IP protection combining its actual situation, which made helpful supplements focusing on related laws and policies, such as: defining the law enforcement main body, the connection of law enforcement processes between all the departments and unified period of law enforcement in the part of administrative law enforcement measures, and making detailed regulations on the award for enterprises' IP protection, those of which played good guiding and promotion roles in the IP protection of enterprises.
