Guangdong ceramics industry patent database put into use

Guangdong ceramics industry patent database was formally put into use and enterprises could utilize the system resources for free, learnt from the training class on the application of ceramics industry patent database held by Guangdong Provincial IPR Research and Development Center.

The training elaborated the basic knowledge on patent documents, patent retrieval and how to use the database. According to Mr. Zeng from the Patent Department of Guangdong Dongpeng Ceramics Co., Ltd., "the ceramics industry patent database will help enterprises to track opponents' technologies, enlighten enterprises to develop new programs and assist enterprises to avoid infringement." Guangdong Dongpeng Ceramics Co., Ltd. has erected its own patent database with the help of Foshan Patent Association and sometimes researches technological information via the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO). Mr. Zeng believed that the newly started ceramics industry patent database gave a definite direction for technologies in the whole industry.
