Tianjin to develop northern IP trade center |

It is learnt that, Tianjin will construct and consummate the five systems of IP creation, application, protection, service and talent support to build a national model city on IP industrialization with evident characteristics whose IP comprehensive strength and overall level will be in the forefront of the whole country, and strive to develop northern IP trade center. Tianjin will take the opportunity of the financial system reform and innovation of Binhai District to exploit IP trade mechanism, further consummate credit guarantee system, direct the risk investment to give priority to the SMEs with independent IPRs and brands, encourage financial systems to carry out IP pledge loan, and form the multi-level and multi-form investment and financing system for the industrialization of IP. It is reported that, in order to broaden the financing of S&T-oriented SMEs, Tianjin has released guiding opinions on the implementation of patent pledge loan, and issued the escape clause on credit extension of patent and trademark rights pledge loan; enterprises can get loans from banks with their invention patent right and utility model patent right as pledges.
