Jilin to develop IPR publicity activities

April 26 this year is the 10th anniversary of World IPR Day and the 40th anniversary of WIPO Convention. Jilin Province will conduct activities during IPR publicity week from April 20 to April 26, learnt from Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Department.

The theme of the publicity week is "Creation, Protection and Development". During this period, Jilin will organize IPR law enforcement actions including "Thunderstorm" and "Skynet", particularly striking collective infringement, repeated infringement, counterfeit patent behaviors and fraud behaviors involving patents, and conduct publicity and training activities on creation, protection and efficiency in governmental departments, enterprises and schools. On the morning of April 26, Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Department together with other related departments will hold celebrating activity for the 10th World IPR Day. A t the spot, they will set up consultation desk, exhibit objects, hang publicity slogans and boards, and hand out publicity materials.
