Jiangsu: private S&T enterprises make contributions for hi-tech industries

It is learnt from Jiangsu Provincial SMEs Bureau that, the S&T-oriented SMEs in Jiangsu have exceed 20,000, the rate share of contributions for the hi-tech industries exceed 40%, and the patent applications and authorizations were increased by 45.3% and 58.3% last year. Deputy Director Hao Tongfu said that, the innovation ability of Jiangsu ranked the first in the whole country last year related to the enhancement of innovation of SMEs.

To the surviving problems, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Science and Technology Wang Qing analyzed that, the special projects aiming at SMEs are less, moreover, SMEs are hard to achieve Commercialization and industrialization on many good projects because 80% of them lack of credible financing channels, Meanwhile, the resources and carriers serving the independent innovation of SMEs are not enough.
