Copyright Month kicked off in Xiamen |

The "Copyright Month 2010" activity in Xiamen was kicked off on April 10. It was hosted by Xiamen municipal copyright bureau, department of education and municipal copyright association. The ceremony for the first publication for "Development of Copyright Industry and protection in Xiamen" was held at the same time. "Development of Copyright Industry and protection in Xiamen" was organized by Xiamen municipal copyright bureau. It introduces with stress the development and IPR achievements by industries of press and publication, industrial arts, Internet, computer software, online games and animations, broadcasting and television, ICH and derived industries, to let citizens learn the exploration and practices in copyright management and protection in Xiamen. At the ceremony, the copyright bureau issued copyright registration certificates to representatives for enterprises and writers and awarded college students who won in the online games competition. Copyright Month has 7 years' history and the theme this year is "protecting copyright, promoting originality". During the activity, a series of propaganda and services will be organized especially to increase the awareness in copyrights and innovative spirits of the youth. |
