Anhui: Hefei to apply more patents

Hefei City, the capital of Anhui Province, will increase its patent members in Patent Club from 2,304 pieces in 2009 to 12,000 pieces in 2015.

It is informed that last year, the hi-tech production value in Hefei City was 144,500,000,000 yuan with a rise of 36.7%; the patents authorized were 2,304, up 76%; the contract sum of technology trade was 2,500,000,000 yuan, going up 30%; and the S&T capital gained by Hefei's enterprises from the state and the province reached 160,000,000 yuan, rising by 38% compared with that in the previous year.
