Tianjin: students' innovation enthusiasm ablaze

It is learnt from Tianjin Municipal IP Office that, in recent two years (i.e. 2008 and 2009), the primary and middle school students accumulatively filed more than 3,000 pieces of patent applications. By connecting IPR with basic education and science popularization activities, Tianjin greatly aroused youngsters' innovation enthusiasm and over 2,000 young inventors were educated.

To advance education for all-around development, Tianjin Municipal IP Office together with Tianjin Municipal Committee of Education and Tianjin Municipal Committee of Science launched Tianjin Youngster Invention & Design Contest, from which abundant invention and innovation fruits were generated.
