Xinjiang Corps launches IPR Week |

The IPR Publicity Week in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps was launched on April 20. Director of Bureau of S&T Tian Xiaoming introduced that the publicity is scheduled for April 20 to 26, and they will provide the free services for the enterprises and units, research institutions, scientists, inventors and publics during the activity, such as: patent information consultation, patent literatures search and the training on the application skills of patent information database. Moreover, the special campaigns against pirated publications named "Thunderstorm" and "Sky net" will also be held. It is introduced that, as of the end of 2009, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had a total of 2,220 patent applications including 414 invention patents, 1,579 utility model patents and 227 design patents. In recent five years, and it strives for over 10% annual growth in patent applications and authorizations and national and local well-known trademarks. |
