Henan and Taiwan develop IPR protection cooperation

Lately, Henan Provincial IPR Protection Association and its counterpart from Taiwan signed a memorandum in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, determining to develop cooperation and exchange on IPR protection and talent cultivation.

It is learnt that, in the future, the two associations will mutually dispatch liaison person, build bidirectional cooperation & exchange and study mechanism, harmonize two sides' resources and talents, reinforce talent cultivation, raise the two parties' ability and level in using intellectual property rights, research common questions, difficulties and heated issues, explore effective ways and measures to settle problems and eventually lift the IPR protection level of the two sides.

Taiwan side believed that, in modern society, it is not enough to merely protect IPR and the most important thing is to transform IPR into finance product. Using IPR as negotiable securities will be the necessary trend due to the convenience for financing and the separation of risks.
