MIIT: strengthen industrial enterprises’ IPR utility ability |

On September 26, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) ignited Nurturing Project on Industrial Enterprises’ IPR Utility Ability and will compile Guidance for Industrial Enterprise IP Management in a bid to foster a cluster of benchmarking businesses in using IPRs in industry and information field. It is informed that the MIIT conducts Nurturing Project on Industrial Enterprise IPR Utility Ability from 2012 to 2015 and will instruct industrial businesses to set up IP management system to raise the capability of industrial enterprises in obtaining and using IPRs. According to MIIT Vice Minister Yang Xueshan, raising industrial enterprises’ IP ability is mainly to raise enterprises’ capability in making breakthroughs in core technologies, commercializing innovative achievements, “going out” and protecting IPR and coping with disputes.
